At China Machined Parts, Ltd.s, we offer comprehensive and highly precise thread rolling capabilities that create intricate external threads using hardened dies. In the thread rolling process, the thread is formed through pressure and friction rather than cutting, resulting in threads that yield greater strength and density.
We create acme, metric, multi-lead, stub acme, unified, and UNJ threads with diameters as small as .500″ and as large as 2.75″. We’re equipped for dual and three die rolling, achieving rolling pressures up to 80,000 lbs. Our processes include bar stock thread rolling, cold roll & hot roll threading, in-feed thread rolling, and thru-feed rolling. We can accomodate maximum thru-fee lengths with stock up to 10′ and hand material surfaces with a maximum hardness of 32 RC.
Our machinists are capable of working with alloys, aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, carbon steel, and stainless steel. They field years of expertise in thread rolling and can leverage state-of-the-art inspection tools to ensure unmatched quality. Our team also performs extensive inventory lot control, dimensional certification, traceability, certified material test reporting, heat analysis, and statistical process control during the entire manufacturing cycle. We take every piece seriously and continously invest in new technology to drive down cost and expand capabilities. We’re proud to support an array of large scale OEMs with next generation thread rolling processes; providing specialty, low, or high volume production runs that meet any tight delivery schedule.
Our turnkey manufacturing services include raw material purchasing, machining, secondary operations, subcontracted services, and timely shipping for complete parts or assemblies. Our subcontractors are vetted and qualified to support us with a variety of outsources services, enabling our customers to achieve peace of mind regardless of the project’s size and scope. We’re AS9100D / ISO9001:2015 certified and strive to constantly improve our technology and processes in order to ensure that we exceed our customer’s expectations. We’ve provided thread rolling to industries include aerospace, oil & gas, agriculture, military, manufacturing, power generation, and semiconductors.
